About the product

There are few things that make me feel as powerful as when I’m wearing a strong red lipstick, but that feeling fades as the day goes by and the product has either disappeared or somehow transferred onto my teeth.

Before finding a product that worked, I’d opt for a lip stain or balm on dates — not wanting a lipstick mark to end up on my wine glass. At the gym, I’d hope to God my lip color wouldn’t run as I worked up a sweat. If I was hanging out with my baby cousins I’d have to pick between smothering them with kisses or wearing lipstick (note — I always chose the former). Basically, I’d have to factor in my lifestyle while choosing a lip product, and it was exhausting.
